Subscriptions

What does Versed Plus include?

Unlimited verse explanations (plain-language meaning, historical context and original Hebrew and Greek words) and every reading plan. Reading the Bible in Versed is always free, with no limits.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers to the yearly plan can try Versed Plus free for 7 days. Two days before the trial ends we send a notification reminding you, if you allowed notifications. If you don’t cancel, the yearly subscription starts when the trial ends. Apple and Google decide who is eligible for a trial.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so you cancel in your store account, not in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge.

  • iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Versed and tap Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Versed and tap Cancel subscription.

You keep Versed Plus until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Apple and Google process all payments, so refunds go through them:

I paid but Plus isn’t unlocked

Open the paywall or your Account page and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. If it still doesn’t work, email us with the date of purchase.

Explanations

How many free explanations do I get?

Three new explanations each week, refreshed every Monday. Reopening one you’ve already read is free. Versed Plus removes the limit.

Are the explanations always right?

Explanations are written by AI (Claude, by Anthropic) and aim to reflect mainstream Christian understanding. They can still be wrong or incomplete, so read them alongside the full chapter and your church’s teaching. If you spot a mistake, email us the verse and what looks wrong.

Reading

Which translations are available?

The World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), Bible in Basic English (BBE) and American Standard Version (ASV). All are in the public domain. Switch translations from the book picker at the top of the feed.

Where is my reading progress saved?

Your place in the Bible, saved verses and streak are stored on your device. They don’t move to a new phone yet.

Your account

Do I need an account?

No. You can read without one. Signing in with Google ties your subscription to your account so it can follow you.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Account (the person icon at the top of the feed) and tap Delete account. See Delete your account for other options and what gets deleted.
